I picked this beauty up at the Takoma Park Academy auto auction. I was looking through the auction site (http://www.rasmus.com/) trying to find a car to replace our dodge conversion van.

"Hmmmm, lessee, junk ... junk ... junk ... junk ... 88 TC 43k miles ...
junk ... junk ... !!!"

Were my eyes deceiving me? I just HAD to go to the auction to check this car out. Well, it turned out to be one of those little-old-lady stories that you only hear about -- the woman's husband had died about a year ago and the car just sat because she couldn't drive, so she finally donated it to the Takoma Park Academy in Maryland. This car had EVERYTHING, including leather. Fortunately for me, no one there seemed to realize what a gem this was. The crowd was more interested in cars like the '90 Mercedes (Ooooo!) with 250K miles or the riced-out Honduh with 150k miles. When the bidding started on the TC, only one other person was even half-interested and dropped out pretty quickly, so I got the TC for the grand sum of ... $600!!!!! Woo-hoo!
