Modifications:

In the dash panel on the pass. side I installed a Volt, Water temp, Oil pressure & Boost gauges. I also painted the lower half black (to hide the rust) It was an option for 1984, so it really isn't a mod. Watch for updates as I get more money.

Description:

I found her sitting behind the local Ford dealer. She hadn't been registered since '95 and the lady brought her in to "see what a wholesaler will give me for it." Well... he offered her $25.  Being the nice guy that I am, I said, "Tell her I'll double that!"  Later that day I get a phone call telling me she accepted that and to just drop off a check for her.  She thought it had a cracked head (at least she was told that).  I went down, got the keys and title (she bought it in 1988) and I drove her home!  The doors are a little rusty on the bottom, it discharges the battery overnight and the brakes go to the floor (but work).  I dropped a new alternator in it, but need the master cyl & maybe a volt reg.  So far I have about $125 in her, and she runs pretty good, but needs a new head, or at least this one rebuilt.  I have a n/a 2.3L that happened to have a turbo head.  I'll rebuild (and port) that one and swap them in the spring.
