Description: I found this car in a salvage yard, with the rear end (body) pushed in slightly, so I bought it for parts for my 85 TC. The car was a basket case with the tail light lenses in the back seat and the valve cover and I/C in the front floor board, and a handful of cam followers missing or just wore totally out. But after some cleaning and checking everything that I could, I found that it all worked. All the way down to the slides on the EQ and the sun roof. I decided that I was fixing the wrong car. So I took all of the good parts from the 85, what few there were, and put them on the 88 and got the body work done, and now I drive it every day. The thought of having a car that has 200+ HP under the hood and can still get almost 30 MPG is just outstanding, the best combination for this day and age. I love this car and will keep it until they stop making gas for it. Then I will probably convert it over to what ever I can get in it to burn!
