Description: |
As
I said
above,
that the
car has
185,000
or so
miles on
it. That
is not
quite
true. I
have
owned
this car
through
five
winters,
and have
done
Major
work to
it four
of
those.
The
first
winter I
worked
on it
was the
302
install
(bare
block
up). I
have
rebuilt
the 302
twice,
once for
worn
bearings
(only
going to
use
Clevite
77's
now).
The
second
for the
cam/pistons
and such
listed
above.
The
winter
between
those I
did the
heads
radiator
and rear
end. I
also had
it
repainted
last
year. My
friends
joke
that my
car will
never
have
more
than
30,000
miles on
it
because
I can't
leave it
alone
when I'm
not
driving
it. I
love the
fact
that I
can go
to car
shows/drag
racing
with out
there
being
200 cars
just
like it
there, I
do
however
wish it
was a
little
easier
to find
parts
for. I
also
like it
when
people
say
"wow
nice
car....
what is
it?".
The only
people
who seem
to
recognize
these
cars are
the
older
NASCAR
fans,
but they
tell me
to put
white
letter
tires on
it and a
wing.
