Description: I wasn't even in the market for a new car at the time, but noticed a maroon Turbocoupe for sale on the side of the road that looked just like the one my father bought when I was younger (which we then had sitting on the side of our house since he wrecked it). I pulled over to check out the price purely out of curiosity, and was pleased to see a nice low price of only $1500. I picked up the car 2 days later for $1200 and drove home quite a content teenager.
Over the next few weeks, I performed the usual tune-up procedures needed to get just about every Turboford running right (plugs, wires, fuel filter, HEATER CORE, etc), but it wasn't long before I began wondering how much power could be coaxed out of that little four cylinder. I stumbled across NATO a few weeks into my ownership, and the pleasure of owning the car was taken to a whole new level. I started off with some simple mods just to make the car a quick daily driver, but one thing lead to another, and I soon had over $3000 worth of performance parts on a $1200 car. It's been worth every penny, though. I now have a car that has gone a best of 13.64 @ 103mph on 24psi, pump gas, and before the header. What's better still is that I use this car day in, day out, and it has only broken a few parts along the way, but has NEVER failed to get me all the way home. I think I'll be keeping this car for the long haul ;)
