Modifications:

1. Engine: Minimal work here as the motor is in dire need of a refresh
   • 3" downpipe to a single 2-1/2" system though a Walker Race Magnum muffler tipped w/ a Pacesetter dual tip. 
   • bypass valve 
   • custom fabricated cold-air system w/ K&N filter located in fender well 
     
2. Transmission: 
   • converted to T-5 from 3 speed auto w/ hydraulic clutch and short-throw shifter 
     
3. Brakes: 
   • Front:
     • 87-93 Mustang spindles
     • 11" 5-Lug Lincoln/SVO rotors
     • 73mm Lincoln/SVO caliper/stainless pistons
     • Upgraded master cylinder
     • braided stainless lines 
   • Rear
     • stock except for braided stainless line between axle and body
       
4. Suspension:

   • Custom built caster plates (3 deg positive) 

   • custom (correct length) upper control arms w/ urethane on body end 

   • refurbished stock lowers w/ urethane bushings 

   • 33mm front sway bar w/ poly bushings 

   • 24mm rear sway bar 

   • urethane bushings in front control arms (a bit harsh at times, but not too bad) 

   • KB Sport front springs 

   • stock rear springs w/ KB TracKit axle brackets 

   • 16x7.5" Mustang "waffle-star" wheels w/ 225/55VR16 Firehawk SVX tires 

    

5. Future Mods:  

   • rebuilt motor

   • intercooler

   • boost controller

   • rear disks

   • a cage and new paint are among them

It's not a TC (TurboCoupe) but is is a TC (Turbo Cougar) It's an 84 Cougar XR-7 turbo I bought last summer from the original owner after a 2 year search for one. Its not perfect (yet) but I like it.
